2016 Jeep Renegade Interior Roof Grab Handle Trouble(?)

My 2016 AWD Latitude may have a problem with the front passenger interior roof grab handle. After gripping the handle and releasing it, it makes a fairly loud bang against the interior roof. All three of the other grab handles return to the roof surface VERY slowly, with no objectionable noise. Does anyone else on the forum have the same trouble? Is there some kind of return spring mechanism problem with this grab handle? (PS ... my Renegade has 36k miles.) Thanks!
