2020 Renegade Latitude - No start - dash goes black

I have a 2020 Renegade Latitude. When I push the ignition button all of the lights on the dash go black. It doesn't matter if I am turning on accessory power or trying to start the Jeep. The radio continues to play and the HVAC lights all stay on. Headlights etc all work. I have to disconnect the battery to get it back again. I just replaced the battery a week ago. I have tested continuity of all fuses in the engine fuse box. I'm all out of ideas of where to look from here. Has anyone heard of a Renegade doing this? I'm just at a loss of what to try next without having it towed to a dealership.
