Hi everyone,

Just installed the DAYSTAR Lift Kit designed specifically for jeep renegade. Feel free to ask questions about it. Big project and some special tools needed, but happy so far with results!

What are the special tools needed?
What size tires and wheels are you now running?
Any negatives you do not like about the lift?
Thank you for your time.

I had to buy a set of reverse torx sockets. You'll need up to E20. I think I paid 20 bucks for the set. Also everything on Jeeps is Metric so you'll need all your wrenches up to 18mm. That's pricey if you don't have them. Also a torque wrench to set foot pounds. Trim removal tools are useful too haha the list goes on. That being said, the instructions are very detailed and guided specifically to the Renegade. The components are good, but could be better. My main issue is the replacement sway bar links. I replaced the nuts with nylon locking ones. Now I'm running 235 65 17 Yokohama Geolander ATS.

No, Basically, the Law states that an aftermarket part or accessory, has to be proven at fault by the Dealer for the failure or problem, if not the Warranty stands intact.
Also installed Daystar lift. It was...an interesting day...with that and rock slides, feel better on the trails.
Was this on a trailhawk or other trim level?
We installed the daystar lift on my Trailhawk on New Years Day. The rock slides a bit later.
Have you noticed any greater body roll and problems cornering after the installation?
No real difference, just a bit higher from ground. Still handles just fine. Different driving from my Miata, but it should be. Lol
looked at them, but seemed a bit pricey (for my budget:() for 1.5"...Made a difference going off pavement?
Knowing that it is there I am just as cautious but also more comfortable. I haven't smucked anything yet. Many comments from others having difficulty believing I taken in a few places. Its a jeep. It wants to go places.....
Set me straight one something here,
this lift is in addition to the factory trailhawk lift or replaces/instead of the factory trailhawk lift?

one will give a total 2 1/2" (1" TH factory+ 1 1/2" kit, worth looking into) the other only gives you 1/2" total additional (1 1/2" lift kit replacing a 1" TH factory lift...huh?)

In addition to the Trailhawk lift.
I

In addition to the Trailhawk lift.
That's what I thought,
coming from the liberty all I ever found for lift was limited do to it's independent axles, so 2 1/2" makes sense.
