I just traded in my Wrangler for a new 2018 Renegade. So far, I absolutely love the Renegade and I am glad I made the switch. I’m already wanting to add some lift though. One thing I don’t want to ruin, is the quiet and smooth ride that I have compared to the Wrangler. Has anyone experienced any cons of adding a lift kit to their renegade? Would you suggest a 2” or 4” lift if you have added? Thanks all!

Looks great! Did it take away any smoothness or quietness of the ride?
No loss in smoothness. A bit louder due to All Terrain tires. But well worth it. Putting on some skid plates for better off roading. Glad i didnt put spacers. One less headache

I'm using a 4" lift (AVID 2.5″ Renegade Lift System and ATP's Renegade/Compass 2.0 Coil Set), and 1.5" spacers BFG KO2 225/65R17.

Some say that adding the spring will stiffen up the ride, but I also added a few additional items that added to the weight. With that said, my ride is awesome.
