I recently purchased a 2015 Trailhawk Renegade. I am VERY disappointed in the Sirius Radio. It cuts out "acquiring signal" 10-20 times per day ... sometimes more than that. I also own a 2012 Ford Fusion. The Sirius never cuts out except when going thru a tunnel. Is anyone else experiencing anything similar! IMO, the radio shud not b losing signal like that on a $31,000 vehicle. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE to me. Please let me know ur thots. When I inquired with the dealership, they told me after my year free trial subscription is up, I can just use an ipod or an app on my smartphone to listen to music and that I won't even miss Sirius. Once again .... unacceptable!!!!

Yes, that is unacceptable and so is the dealers attitude. I have a 2015 Trailhawk and sirius plays perfect. In one of the owner manuals there should be a toll free number that you can call for help and maybe they will give your dealer an attitude adjustment!
I have had an occasional loss of signal, for no apparent reason (overhead signal obstructions), but just for a short time. Happens frequently in certain spots driving by Tampa Airport.
Have had Sirius in my previous Wrangler and my other Ford Escape , never a signal problem.
Your dealers response should be reported to Chrysler/Fiat so they can correct . Driving without Sirius and Howard Stern is not an option for me.
I don't seem to have any problems with Sirius either ( maybe just the wide open spaces here in northern nevada). I'd check with Sirius about the problem. My experience with dealership is that they don't know much about the new Renegades and once they make the sales...well you know...

My husband said to check the little black antenna on the back of the roof. Make sure it's tight. I don't have this problem on my 2015 Renegade Trailhawk.
Hi everyone! I just purchased a used 2016 renegade and I was backing up, and my Sirius went into “acquiring signal” mode and will not leave it. I have turned off/on the radio, tried to reset it, and checked the antenna to make sure it was tight, and it was. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thank you in advance!
2015 Renegade Now getting more and more power offs and reboots of the radio . Happens only when listening to Sirius.
Since others are reporting the problem I will take it to the dealer but expect flak but believe it is not the service but the radio itself
2015 Renegade, My Sirius radio has now twice went to "acquiring signal" when I start it. I believe ti to be thr radio itself. Not the service......... But without it doing that at the dealer they would/could not help. But as far as a dealer telling me to use a Ipod,,,,,,, that dealer would be reported to Chrysler/Fiat
