The curt hitch only fits the FWD model. IT WOULD NOT FIT MY 4X4. Dealer had to return it and get a draw tite which fits fine.
Where did you get the hitch?
there's a website renegadeready.com they market it online although i think it is a mopar part i've just never seen it in their catalogs (which would officially make it "factory") good luck with the build it's fun/tricky but not inpossible. I have a link on the install also on this forum.Where did you get the hitch?

Im glad I moved to this from a full size truck and it's taken some adjustment hah. the more people who push 'em the more cool parts they'll make! Thanks. I'm excited with this new toy.
My husband likes this hitch. He asked, did you have any problems installing it?
Well I'm not sure anything was very problematic, but the project is very tedious. For me the electrical hardwiring was hard because I am inepxerienced in soldering. But that step is not required and you can always run the aftermarket trailer cable out the hatch. My husband likes this hitch. He asked, did you have any problems installing it?
How did you find the wire coding for the renegade? I can't seem to locate it and have no help in using test light.Well I'm not sure anything was very problematic, but the project is very tedious.
