Yes, this is correct. There is a recall for all jeeps with the 6.5 nav system. Done several at my shop, mostly on the Cherokee right now. All the renegades we have gotten in already have the security upgrade installed.

I had a recall for the u connect system on my Latitude. They sent me a new chip to bring to the dealer for a re program. It took two hours to complete. I was told the recall is only for the u connect with 6.5 screen with nav. It is supposed to correct having your system hacked.
